The information on this page is family research conducted by Harry Harriss.  He recalls many tales told to him by his late father Ray.

Harry has successfully researched his line back to a William HARRISS who originated from Bedfordshire in the early 1800s and traded as a blacksmith. 

Harry’s paternal grandmother was a BECK from North End, her grandfather Richard Clay BECK having originated from Coventry arriving in our village in 1876.
